Kids 4 Truth
Dear Parent,
We are excited to introduce to you the Kids 4 Truth Truthbooks, which are the mainstay of the Kids 4 Truth Curriculum. Please allow us a few minutes to acquaint you with these new books and the Kids 4 Truth clubs in general.
The Kids 4 Truth curriculum is a study of twelve of the key doctrines of our faith. It provides Bible answers to what Christians believe and why they believe it. The twelve doctrines that are studied are:
- God’s Word: The Bible
- The Greatness of God
- The Goodness of God
- The Trinity
- God’s Creation
- God’s View of You
- God’s Law
- Jesus Christ
- God’s Gift: Salvation
- God’s Purpose for His Children
- God’s Work: Past and Present
- God’s Plan for the Future
The Kids 4 Truth Curriculum is designed for four specific age levels. Each age level spans a two-year period of time.
Level 1 – Discoverers (3yrs – K5) – Boys and girls discover the most important truths about God in this adventurous treasure hunting level (note, this is the only level that can last up to 3 years).
Level 2 – Developers (1st-2nd) – Boys and girls build upon the foundation of God-Focused truth in this construction/builder themed level.
Level 3 – Detectives (3rd & 4th) – Boys and girls further investigate doctrinal truth and go deeper in their understanding in this sleuthing, clue-finding level.
Level 4 – Defenders (5th & 6th) – Boys and girls learn to love and defend the faith in this medieval level.
As the child progresses through the four levels, the child learns the same twelve doctrines with deeper and greater understanding by memorizing answers that include Bible verses to “top questions.” Over a two-year period, each child will learn the answers to 120 of the most important questions ever!
Levels 2-4 each contain two books — one book for every curriculum year. Each Truthbook contains 6 of the 12 doctrinal themes. Book 1 always contains the first six themes and book 2 contains the last 6 themes. Grades 1, 3, and 5 will be in Truthbook #1 of their respective level while Grades 2, 4, and 6 will be in Truthbook #2. Each child can earn up to 5 award patches per theme making a total of 30 patches per year!
Level 1 is specific to the age, not the grade, of the child (3, 4, and 5). Therefore, there are three books for that level. Book la = 3 year olds, book 1b = preschoolers (4-5 year olds), and book 1c = Kindergarteners (5-6 years). The children in Level 1 will cover all twelve Kids 4 Truth themes each year. Children in book 1a can earn one patch per theme while children in books 1b and 1c can earn up to two patches per theme for a total of 24 patches each year!
Your child will received an entrance book. When he/she completes the entrance book he/she will earn the new Truthbook. The Truthbook contains curriculum for the entire curriculum year.
